Field Study:

A site has been chosen on the southeast coast of Ireland located on a commercial arable farm with infield lysimeters. Plots will be sown with one of 5 plantain cover crop mixtures. Seed mixtures included combinations of plantain and commercial cover crop species. Leachate will collected and assessed during the drainage season.

The following barley crop will be assessed for agronomic benefits of the preceding cover crop mixtures.
